The novel tells a story happening in a senior high school, where teenagers from different background have classes in the same school. There is no doubt that colorful campus life is what most students desire for after ending a boring summer holiday, while it is the nightmare that terrifies Camilla. She is a girl who prefer to read books rather than dressing herself. Therefore, her dressing is often lagging and mocked by others. She even doesn't know why evil Lucas and his friends likes to bully her. She is so timid that she seldom protest their vicious behaviors. What's worse, she gradually becomes the public objection of exclusion among students in the school. The only thing that comforted her is that Beatrice often stands out to support her and becomes her best friend. On the first day of the new semester, a new boy named Charles invites her to be his deskmate when no one is willing to sit with her. However, Lucas won't let her go without a flight……
Why does Lucas like to bully Camilla？He finds that he loves such a plain girl, while he doesn't hope to love anyone, therefore, he think that he should hate her, bullying Camilla again and again. However, Camilla's words still hurt him……
Some mistakes in language of this novel influence reading experience to some extent. However, Combination between hot topics and plots also let this novel leave us a deep impression. Last but not least, I want to emphasize that teenagers should form a right opinion about romance relationship and school bullying should be resisted forever.
