Background of Beta's Surprise Mate
As a kind of creature, werewolves are different from humans. While their lifestlye is similar with humans'. They also like to live in the form of a pack. Generally speaking, different packs live in different cities. Of course, cities of werewolves are apart from the cities where humans live. There is seldom connection among different species. Although werewolves can choose to shift their forms as a human or as a wolf through their minds, they are neither humans nor wolves after all. Consequently, romantic relatinships often occur within one species. However, in this werewolf novel, the writer create more opportunities for werewolves to choose their mate. Main Characters of Beta's Surprise Mate
John is one of sons of the alpha in his pack and was hoped to succeed to the throne of his father someday. Being brough up by his father carefully, he performed well but he loses the opportunity eventually because his wolf don't conform to condition of inheritance in his pack. Eventually, all of his efforts are in vain and his little brother is named as the next alpha in his pack because his wolf is up to the standard. He was named as a beta. Of course, he is a little disappointed with the result. But he doesn't envy his little brother and they have a good relationship. No matter when his little brother needs him, he is always willing to give his hands.
Sarael is a human who likes flowers and runs a flower shop in the city where humans live. She is a traditional girl who was required and educated strictly by his father. In her family education, they can’t choose their husband among other species except humans. However, her fate doesn’t change because of their family education. She encounters John at work and is attracted by him at the first sight. In her eyes, John is the most handsome man whom she has seen. However, she realizes that John is not a human but a werewolf.

Eventually his little brother becomes the next alpha and he is just named as a beta. However, he doesn’t envy his little brother and is still willing to help him. His little brother’s wedding is coming, he needs to help them to prepare for it. He has lost the hope to find a mate because he can’t find one until now. However, he should feel the special scent of his mate when he helps his little brother to fetch flowers which will be used in the wedding. Sarael is the girl who supplies flowers for his little brother’s wedding. She is also attracted by John at her first sight. However, As a human, it’s not permitted to have a romantic relationship with a werewolf in Sarael’s family……
